Contact the district to verify attendance boundaries, enrollment requirements and any address-specific questions. Keep its response with the property notes. Ask about the current process and possible changes rather than assuming an assignment is permanent.
Build your own comparison
List the courses, support services, transportation, accessibility and activities you want to investigate. Review district materials and arrange conversations or visits where available. Distinguish current offerings from programs that require an application or have limited availability.
Evaluate everyday logistics
Test the trip to school and the places you use regularly. Visit parks and other amenities yourself. Avoid treating a ranking or a label such as “family friendly” as a substitute for your needs and direct research.
