Martial Arts

The Mount Kisco Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational programs. Whether it’s baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, or ice skating, there is something for everyone! The Recreation Department also offers a variety of activities for senior citizens, including bridge, line dance, chorus, and computer instruction. The North East Westchester Special Recreation Consortium coordinates a variety of recreation activities for children and adults with disabilities, including summer camps for ages 3-21.
 
Leonard Park is a 120-acre complex that includes a children’s play area, four lit tennis courts, one lighted paddle tennis court, the Memorial Pool, basketball courts, two picnic areas, a teahouse with picnic areas in the rear, and more. It also features a lake, great for fishing. The park is a great place to spend an afternoon, and it has been featured on TV’s “Great Outdoors.” There’s also a nice indoor go-kart track and bowling at Spins Bowl, which offers fun activities for kids and adults alike!
 

Yoga

Leonard Park is a 120-acre recreation complex that boasts two sets of play equipment, 3 swimming pools for adults, children, and toddlers, tennis courts, baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts, a rentable stone tea house perched beside Wallace Pond, an indoor rec building that is multipurpose and a summer camp.
 
Yoga classes are offered for kids at Leonard Park on Mondays (ages 8-12) and Wednesdays (ages 3-5) with Bend and Bloom Yoga. The class focuses on flow, breathwork, and alignment and provides an opportunity for students to stretch and reconnect. The suggested donation is $25 per class or $80 for a monthly pass.
 
Studio 22, Northern Westchester’s first boutique-style indoor cycling and yoga studio, is set to open at 145 Kisco Ave. Owner Catherine Gleason says the new facility will offer a variety of yoga and cycling classes as well as a full spa. Let’s Make a Play

Leonard Park is Mt Kisco’s recreation complex with 3 seasonal swimming pools, a rentable stone teahouse perched beside Wallace Pond, tennis and basketball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, walking trails, and a multi-purpose rec building. Throughout the year residents take part in a variety of special programs and enjoy a wide array of summer camps.
 
The park is also home to a disc golf course hailed by locals as the best in Westchester. It is also a popular destination for families looking to escape the city and enjoy nature.
 
In addition to the park’s many amenities, it is also home to the WMN Unite – Let’s Make A Play 9-week after-school playwriting class for kids grades 3-6. The class features improv, shared readings, and tons of creative and exploratory writing as it teaches kids how to develop cool ideas into a play in 9 weeks. Located at the Tea House in Leonard Park, this is the class to sign up for if you’re a kid or parent who’s looking for an engaging and fun way to learn how to write a play.
 

Tea House

The 116-acre Leonard Park in Mount Kisco is a treasured recreation area, home to tennis courts, ball fields, pools, and gymnasiums. The park also has a famed disc golf course and hosts town-sponsored summer concerts.
 
During the weekend, the community gathers for events like St. Patrick’s Day parades, Little League games and annual 5K runs. There’s also a thriving downtown that features unique shops and restaurants.
